Terms of Service

FIGURED. is a math practice app for kids in roughly grades 3–5. Figured Chat guides your child through problems step by step using the strategies taught in today's classrooms. It is a learning tool, not a tutor replacement, not a diagnostic service, and not a substitute for your child's teacher or school curriculum.

• You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child profile you create.
• You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity under your account.
• One household per account. Please don't share logins outside your family.

• Pricing: $8.99 per month, or $89 per year for the Founding Family annual plan.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel any time — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices may change for new subscriptions; Founding Family annual pricing stays locked for existing subscribers.
• Taxes may be added where required by law.

To cancel or ask for a refund, email ashley@imrootedwithashley.com. We look at refund requests case by case and try to be reasonable about it.

• Use FIGURED. for your own family's learning — no reselling, scraping, or bulk automated access.
• Don't upload photos containing other people's private information, or anything that isn't schoolwork.
• Don't try to break, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass safety limits in the app.
• Don't use the app to cheat on tests or graded assessments where help isn't allowed.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put other families' data at risk.

You keep ownership of the homework photos and text you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. The FIGURED. name, brand, lessons, and app content belong to us and may not be copied or redistributed.

Figured Chat is powered by AI and can make mistakes, including misreading a photo or explaining a step imperfectly. Please review your child's work. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

You can stop using FIGURED. and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend service if these terms are broken, if required by law, or if we discontinue the product — in which case we'll refund any unused prepaid time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located there. Questions: ashley@imrootedwithashley.com.
