The partnership
Kristen Lombardo brings the teaching — the strategies, the classroom language, and the "since when do we…" moments that make today's math click for kids and their grown-ups. I'm Rooted with Ashley Studio brings the product: brand, interface design, engineering, and the whole app experience.
What the studio built here
- Brand identity, typography, and the neo-brutalist visual system.
- The full app: guided chat, drawn math visuals, coin economy, avatar rewards, and the parent dashboard.
- The kid-first flows — Snap Your Homework, step cards, hints, and progress gallery.
- Accessibility, PWA install experience, and performance work.
