Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Only a parent or guardian can create an account. Kids never sign up on their own, never enter an email address, and never provide payment details. Creating a child profile inside your account is how you give consent for that child to use FIGURED.

• A first name or nickname you choose (a nickname is completely fine).
• A grade level, so problems are the right difficulty.
• Practice activity: problems, answers, hints, streaks, coins, badges, avatars.
• Homework photos your child chooses to upload.

That's it. No last name, no school, no address, no phone number, no precise location, no contacts, and no camera or microphone access beyond the photo your child intentionally uploads.

• No behavioral advertising and no third-party ad networks — there are no ads in FIGURED. at all.
• No selling or renting of child data, ever.
• No public profiles, friend lists, messaging with strangers, or user-to-user chat.
• No requiring a child to share more information than needed to practice math.
• No using child data to train third-party AI models.

• Review your child's data any time from the parent dashboard, including their photo history.
• Export their activity history as CSV.
• Delete a photo, a child profile, or your whole account — email us and we'll take care of it.
• Withdraw consent at any time; we'll delete the child profile and its data.

Requests go to ashley@imrootedwithashley.com. We may ask a question or two to confirm you're the account holder before deleting anything.
